"Redtide" sheds light on a natural disaster that happens yearly in coastal states along the gulf coast. "Redtide" is the name of an algae bloom that suffocates all sealife in affected waters and creates hazardous air quality conditions for those that live near affected waterways. These algae blooms happen naturally but have been dramatically worsened in severity and frequency by human pollution.
